Pleasure flights with East Midlands Helicopters

East Midlands Helicopters flies its pleasure tours from Costock in Leicestershire, in a Bell JetRanger. You get the whole helicopter — you and up to three guests, no shared seats and no strangers — and a choice of tour lengths.

Shorter flights take in the countryside around Rutland Water, Melton Mowbray and Oakham. Longer ones reach as far as Sherwood Forest, Chatsworth House, Nottingham and Derby. There is also a lunch tour, where you fly out, land for lunch and come back by helicopter afterwards.

Fly the helicopter on an Arcus trial lesson

A trial lesson is for someone who wants to experience flying rather than simply travel as a passenger. After a briefing, the student flies with an Arcus instructor and has the opportunity to take the controls during the lesson.

Trial lessons are instructional, one-to-one experiences. Additional passengers cannot accompany the student.
